Dear Focuser,
Following the success of my first two ‘Focusing with Poetry’ workshops at the end of last year, I’ll be offering further workshops on Zoom on the following dates:
Sundays 31st January, 14th March, 9th May, from 10am - 1.30pm (including two breaks)
Each of these will be ‘stand alone’ workshops open both to those who have done previous workshops and to new participants. The workshops are open to anyone who knows how to Focus and companion. The fee for each workshop is £25(£15 concs), or £60(£40 concs) if you book all three workshops. The number of participants will be limited to allow enough time for a brief check-in from everyone, and to enable easier sharing as a group.
Most of the workshop will be experiential and will involve Focusing on two different poems with two different partners. In the first session everyone will Focus on the same given poem, and in the second session you will Focus on a poem of your choice.
The first two workshops have shown without doubt that Focusing and poetry is a powerful combination:

Een oproep van Focustrainer Ingrid De Witte
Luisteren naar je lijf wanneer je dit lijf als een vijand of een bron van voortdurende pijn ervaart, lijkt voor chronische pijn patiënten geen evidentie. Toch is het ongetwijfeld zinvol om ook deze groep mensen de vaardigheden van focusing bij te brengen.
Heb jij ervaring in focusing(training) met chronische pijn patiënten? En heb je interesse om eens samen te komen (al dan niet online) om van gedachten te wisselen of tips en tricks te delen rond de mogelijkheden van focusing bij deze doelgroep?
